The Stopping the Violence (STV) Program offers an opportunity to address experiences of abuse from a client centered and strengths-based perspective. This program is for self-referring women, transgendered, cis, non-binary and two spirited, who have been impacted by domestic violence and abuse whether current or historic. This program provides first stage counselling, safety planning, exit planning, psycho-education as well as many other services.


PEACE Program

The PEACE Program (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling & Empowerment) is a no-cost and confidential program that addresses the needs of children and youth aged 3-18 who have experienced family violence. The PEACE Program offers a variety of services to children and youth, including non-offending parents and caregivers so that families may begin to heal together.

I am a Stopping the Violence counsellor who places special emphasis on empowering those who have been negatively impacted by abuse. For the past 2 years, I have had the unique privilege of being able to work closely with and uplift women and youth who have experienced abuse. I believe that healing has less to do with redefining and more to do with rediscovery. I hope you will join me in this process of rediscovering the strength that has always existed within you.

I am experienced in working with children, youth, parents, and caregivers individually and in group settings. I strive to work from a client-centered, strengths-based approach while offering support, psycho-education, and empowerment.
